Development of the bond proposal involved an in-depth process of information gathering, research and community input.

In the fall of 2021, the District’s Long-Range Facilities Planning Committee met five times to develop a response to the District’s growth and other aging and evolving facility needs. The Committee studied growth projections, financial data, various bond options, and more. This process – and all the information reviewed – led the Committee to make a bond recommendation to the Board of Trustees.

After the bond measure failed in May 2022 the committee reconvened to draft a new recommendation to the Board of Trustees.

The LRFPC is comprised of parents, non-parents, campus staff, community and business members, and a mix of backgrounds and geographic representation.
