Little Elm ISD’s enrollment continues to climb.
Three of the District’s nine buildings will approach or exceed capacity in the 2022-2023 school year. Total enrollment will likely exceed 10,000 students by 2026 and 11,300 students by 2031.
Demographic reports indicate that Little Elm ISD has a high number of home sales each year, ranking it among the fastest-growing school districts in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Total home sales in 2021 were 5% over 2020. Continued new home sales brings potential for new students to enroll in Little Elm ISD.
To accommodate the growth, the November 2022 Bond Proposition calls for the construction of two new elementary schools and a significant expansion of Little Elm High School.
